Gas Pipeline Worries Jersey City Community

Spectra Energy Corp., a Texas based natural gas company, has filed an application to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to expand the company's interstate pipeline system through Bayonne and Jersey City.

Veteran Presence on NJCU Campus

The adjustment from military to civilian life is not easily accomplished but there is support for Veterans that attend New Jersey City University. The Student Veteran's Organization (SVO) is an independent club on the NJCU campus that brings together veterans from all branches of the military to discuss issues affecting Operation Iraqi Freedom/Operation Enduring Freedom (OIF/OEF) veterans.

NJCU Men's Basketball:NJAC Champions

New Jersey City University Men's basketball team finished their season off strong by winning 16 of their last 19 games.  They clinched the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Tournament and most importantly won the NJAC championship by defeating Montclair State 72-67 in a heart wrenching close game on Friday, Febuary 25th.

Jersey's Jazzy Freestyle Art

On January 22, All City: Artwork by Jersey City's Finest  exhibition that was curated by S.N.C. Inc and Redemption Arts took place in downtown, Jersey City, on Newark Ave. The unique urban art conveyed the diversity of style and culture in our city. The works ranged from giant airbrushed portraits to small marker illustrations, photography and graffiti. There were also several mixed media collages, three-dimensional design, t-shirts, and jewelry.
